Fancy knowing more about what we actually do?

The following info is a detailed step by step of what we do so you can feel comfortable we know what we are doing and give yourself some peace of mind.

I know this is quite a bit of reading but if your interested feel free to give it a read.

Interior

1. We typically start with the interior. Removing all floor mats to be dealt with later.

2. First we Vacuum the entire car doing a side at a time, carpets, seats, centre console. Getting all of the loose dirt from places we will wipe after and getting the carpets cleaned. At the same time as vacuuming carpets we will spray our interior detailer or all purpose cleaner to slightly soak the carpets as vacuuming a wet surface helps pick up more dirt. If the vehicle is in need of it we will also use a drill with a brush attachment to bring up all of the embedded dirt that the vacuum can't get. Then rinse and repeat until satisfied.

3. Wiping all plastics, centre console, door cards, dashboard etc.

4. Scrub of seats, using either a shampoo, leather cleaner or all purpose cleaner to remove the dirt/stains in the seats. This works well and will get most grime and marks out of seats however sometimes it does require a wet vac which we will do if it has been added to our service.

5. Inside of windows wiped and dried to remove smears.

6. Floor mats cleaned with the same process as carpets, vacuum and drilled.

Exterior

1. Wheel cleaner and Fallout remover left to dwell on your alloys and tyres. All purpose cleaner sprayed into your wheel arches. We will use wheel acid if the brake dust has sat for to long and embedded into the alloy but won't use unless needed.

2. Specific brushes used on different parts of the wheel and arch to scrub away iron, brake dust, grime etc.

3. Pre wash and snow foam sprayed onto the entire car and left to dwell for about 5 mins, then rinsed off removing most of the dirt and loosening all of the tougher dirt ready for the contact wash.

4. We use the 2 bucket contact wash method, so we put shampoo in the wash bucket which we soak the pads in and have a rinse bucket to rinse off all the dirt that get's picked up during washing the vehicle

5. Once the car has been scrubbed we rinse off all the chemical ready to be dried.

6. We first spray on a gloss wax which makes the vehicle dry nicer and also provides the car with a 1-2 month hydrophobic protection and makes the car have a gloss finish.

7. Once that has been applied we then dry the car with a drying towel which has been sprayed with a quick detailer to make sure there are no smudges and leaves the car looking spotless.
